Yet another Russian MiG-29 pilot exhibits “expertise”

Footage capturing the Russian fighter’s mishap is circulating widely throughout the web.

According to witnesses, the aircraft struck a pole while being transported along Arshakunyats Avenue, subsequently crashing into roadway fencing.

Preliminary information confirms no casualties occurred due to the accident.

Additionally, reports confirm Armenian Defense Ministry patrol units and Military Police officers halted traffic on the road segment near Erebuni Airport.

The “Militarnyy” publication highlights the involvement of a MiG-29A (tail number “15 red,” serial RF-92181, production number 2960526360) produced in 1989.

It’s also noted this jet was assigned to the 3624th Erebuni Air Base within the CSTO framework.

Importantly, this base serves as the final posting location for MiG-29A aircraft currently undergoing active decommissioning by Russia’s Aerospace Forces.

Journalists suggest the plane might have been transported following removal from service, as its last known flight occurred in 2022.
